As for a "winter beater" Saab 900 (1996) "functions and looks good," says the owner, any advice? (Price 500)
I have a new truck that drives wife (2006 RAM), but something I need for my work (at night, then it might look like shit) I had a Saab 9000CD starts each day I had, but I phoned 3000.00 in repairs in one year, and has sold. I heard the 900 series much more reliable, and run / work very well or comment?
I have a 1983 900 with 276.000 miles on it. Saab cars are unique. If you are not mechanically inclined, even if you do not break down frequently, stay away from them. As the commercial says "born from jets." They do not tell is that they are more difficult to work on airplanes! In the winter the car for my heater takes miles to produce all the heat unless the radiator drain portion.
